A few times a year we invite sea lovers, dreamers, and keen observers of endless horizons to join our non-stop journeys, to enjoy the comfort of our ships for an extended period and share the daily lives of our crew.
As the days go by, you can admire the waves from the upper deck, keep fit in the spa and make good use of the pool or the gym, share the daily life of the crew, discover sailing techniques and instruments, and enjoy a break from the hectic pace of life.

On board we will showcase the ship’s identity in the pages of our notebooks, based on the ambient colour chart, geometry of the furnishings, the curves, straight lines and volumes. On a more poetic note, we will also work on that horizontal line in the distance in all its weathers and garnishes, the inaccessible horizon and never ending quest; for “The sea, the sea, always begins again”.
We will discuss many things, taking our time, as on the waves the notion of time and space will be ours. And log books always have a special appeal.

I heard the call of the sea very early on, chose my profession and decided to write, draw and sail.
With a diploma in scientific and technical drawing, a very demanding sector, I have always worked. I live and work in Sète and my roots are in that port city. But my work is not satisfied with mere force of habit. The port is my playground and the sea a supremely poetic place, where there is solidarity among people. Reliability / reactivity / solidarity.
Riding the waves, my body is always put to the test and endures what the swell has to throw at me. Despite this, nothing pleases me more than to work onboard ship. My notebooks shed light on life aboard and the crews, be they merchant or military.
Hailing from a line of Andalusians, I work in Seville on the flamenco’s identity, its power and codes. And since the age of 13 have felt at home in Tangier, the visceral attraction of which remains a mystery to me.
Among many exhibitions, the one in the Museum of the World Ocean at Kaliningrad in Russia remains my fondest memory, in collaboration with the Baltic Marine Academy and senior officers and crew of the Russian Cape Horner, the Kruzenshtern.
Thalassa followed me at sea, my work has been the subject of reports on BFM, France 2, regional news programmes, La Marine Nationale Cols Bleus review, Chasse-Marée and other specialist arts magazines. I have done stamp work for collectors: the Merchant Navy and the frigate Hermione, designed the last stamp for the Jeanne d’Arc helicopter carrier, a mission chart, a campaign album and others. My travel diaries are published by Magellan&Cie. I am accredited by the Latécoère Foundation and the frigate Hermione and have been running travel diary courses ashore and at sea for over 15 years.
A multi-undisciplined free spirit, I obey my intuition, I do not give in to what is in fashion.

Ideal clothes for life on board:
You are advised to wear comfortable clothes or casual outfits. The entire ship is air-conditioned, so a light sweater, a light jacket or a shawl may be necessary. When moving about in the public areas of the ship and the decks, light but comfortable shoes are recommended.
Informal evening:
In the evening, you are advised to wear smart-casual attire, especially when dining in our restaurants where wearing shorts and tee-shirts is not allowed.

SHOP:
A small shop is available on board offering a wide range of outfits, jewellery, leather goods and many accessories.
A laundry service (washing/ironing) is available on board, but unfortunately there are no dry cleaning services. For safety reasons, your cabin is not equipped with an iron.

In your hand luggage, remember to bring any medicines that you need, and possibly a small spare bag of toiletries (in case of delay in the delivery of your baggage by the airline). Remember to always have your travel documents with you in case you need them: hotel vouchers, cruise vouchers, return flight tickets... Never leave them in your hold luggage.
All our cabins have a safe. We recommend not to go ashore with valuable jewellery.

Portugal’s capital city located on the banks of the Tagus, only a few kilometres from the Atlantic coast, is a city of exceptionally rich cultural diversity. At the mouth of the river harbour, impose two UNESCO World Heritage monuments, Jeronimos monastery and Belem tower. The Alfama hillside is also worth visiting: known for its fado bars and its Moorish streets, this district is the oldest one of the city and one of the most typical. Not far from there, Chiado’s elegant streets are home to big fashion labels and are an invitation to a bit of of luxury shopping.

During your journey at sea, make the most of the many services and activities on board. Treat yourself to a moment of relaxation in the spa or stay in shape in the fitness centre. Depending on the season, let yourself be tempted by the swimming pool or a spot of sunbathing. This journey without a port of call will also be an opportunity to enjoy the conferences or shows proposed on board, depending on the activities offered, or to do some shopping in the boutique or to meet the PONANT photographers in their dedicated space. As for lovers of the open sea, they will be able to visit the ship’s upper deck to admire the spectacle of the waves and perhaps be lucky enough to observe marine species. A truly enchanted interlude, combining comfort, rest and entertainment.

A stopover of sunny climes, Las Palmas is located on the north-east coast of Gran Canaria. A few streets away from Puerto de la Luz port, you’ll discover the vast Las Canteras beach, bordered with the town’s characteristic palms. You’ll find these palms are all over Las Palmas, in the streets and squares, especially on the plaza de Santa Ana in the heart of the historical district. It feels like you’ve travelled back in time here, as you stand looking at the tall houses beside the Santa Ana cathedral. Very close by, you can visit the Casa de Colón, a museum dedicated to the famous explorer. The museum is housed in the palace belonging to the island’s former governor. Chances are, you’ll be drawn to the covered Vegueta market to partake in some daily life along with the locals and taste some unfamiliar dishes.
