The oceans cover nearly 70% of the Earth's surface, provide over 50% of the oxygen we breathe, and absorb more than 30% of CO2 emissions. Contributing to the preservation of this exceptional environment is one of our priorities.

Meaningful encounters
Every year, employees of PONANT EXPLORATIONS GROUP have the opportunity to get involved by participating in field projects supported by the Foundation, such as education in the Bissagós archipelago (Guinea-Bissau) or environmental preservation in New Caledonia. Meaningful exchanges, closely engaging with local communities.
A call for projects dedicated to employees
Every year, the PONANT Foundation offers each employee the opportunity to submit a request for assistance for an association or project that is close to their heart. Preservation of marine biodiversity or enhancement of maritime heritage... all proposals related to the Foundation's missions are considered.
Raise awareness about environmental issues
Throughout the year, timely actions on environmental issues are carried out in collaboration with local associations, such as beach cleaning operations in the Marseille region, where the company's headquarters are located.
