Marcel Ravin

Chef Marcel Ravin has come a long way, moving from one Rock to another to realize his culinary dream. Born in Martinique, he left his native island to settle in Monaco in 2005, a journey of over 7,000 km that changed his life forever. Since his arrival, Marcel Ravin has worked tirelessly to create an innovative and refined cuisine that combines the flavors of his native Caribbean with those of the Mediterranean and other gastronomic cultures he has discovered on his travels.
According to Marcel Ravin, “cooking was a choice of the heart”. His grandmother introduced him to this world: “At home, she cooked everything she grew, so we were practically self-sufficient”, he recalls. Today, he also remembers the truth she always told him: “The heart has no color”. This philosophy inspired him to become a source of encouragement for young cooks of color, who are encouraged to believe in their dreams.
