Hector Jain
Born on September 21, 2006, in the United States, Hector Jain has been continuing his training at the Princess Grace Academy in Monte Carlo since 2020, under the direction of Luca Masala, following two years at Next Generation Ballet in Tampa, Florida. There, he has worked with teachers such as Olivier Lucea, Carsten Jung, Michel Rahn, Roland Vogel, Thierry Sette, Gioia Masala, Lisa Jones, Carole Pastorel, and Asier Uriagereka.
A laureate of the 2025 Prix de Lausanne, he was awarded the Jeune Étoile Scholarship. He also received the Positano Léonide Massine Prize for the Art of Dance in September 2025.
His stage experience spans a wide repertoire, including works by Marius Petipa, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, William Forsythe, George Balanchine, Jean-Christophe Maillot, and Christopher Wheeldon. He also performs numerous variations and pas de deux from the great classical ballets, among them Giselle, Sleeping Beauty, Le Corsaire, Paquita, Swan Lake, Don Quixote, and The Nutcracker.
He has further enriched his training through masterclasses with Sylviane Bayard, Lucia Geppi, Svetlana Ballester, Rainer Krenstetter, Alexei Ratmansky, as well as Jean-Christophe Maillot, Eugenio Buratti, Georges Oliveira, Francesco Nappa, Martina Barbi, Stephanie Amt, and Surimu Fukushi.
Following the external competition held in July 2025, Hector Jain joined the Paris National Opera Ballet as a Quadrille in the Corps de Ballet.
