Dimitri Naïditch
Franco-Ukrainian pianist and composer Dimitri Naïditch is acclaimed for his singular voice at the crossroads of classical and jazz. Trained at the National Conservatory of Kiev, he revealed early a rare musical maturity. Between the rigor of tradition and the freedom of improvisation, he has forged a bold, deeply personal style.
For over thirty years, he has performed worldwide and collaborated with leading artists such as Didier Lockwood, Patricia Petibon, Richard Galliano, Pierre Amoyal, Gilles Apap, and Marie-Claude Pietragalla.
His original programs reimagining the great masters have given rise to several albums on Dinai Records within the New Time Classics collection.
Two of them, dedicated to Bach and Chopin, were honored with the “Choc de Classica” award.
Also a film composer, he wrote part of the soundtrack for Claude Lelouch’s Chacun sa vie and contributed to Un + Une. In 2024, he composed the score for Jacques Otmezguine’s Choix du Pianiste, showcasing the full scope of his musical language.
A Steinway Artist, he also teaches at the CNSMD of Lyon and the Didier Lockwood Music Center, where he shares his approach to improvisation and creativity.
