A secluded island erupting from the Tyrrhenian sea a few miles north of Palermo, Ustica rolls out a decor of lava walls and turquoise blue creeks. Here you can explore the little town and the Santa Maria tower, that dates from the 18th century, and then pay a visit to the prehistoric collections in the Archaeological museum. The rest of the island is wild and offers many walks in pristine nature. Some walks lead to beautiful caves and delicious natural pools. The water’s perfect transparency makes Ustica a preferred destination for divers.
