If seals choose this place every year to have their young, it’s because the Le Conte bay is particularly favourable for them. You might get a glimpse of the mammals basking in the sun on the numerous icebergs that spangle this fjord and its plunging landscapes. Because its here, not far from Frederick passage, in this inlet of the Alexander archipelago famous for whale watching, that the Le Conte glacier meets the sea. It creates immaculate chunks of ice, which you can admire throughout the ten kilometres of this exceptional bay.
