Voted "Revelation" at the 2016 Victoires de la Musique Classique awards, French trumpeter Lucienne Renaudin Vary, a "trumpet fairy" according to Le Monde, has a unique artistic identity that enables her to shine on classical stages around the world as well as on the jazz scene. At the age of 24, Lucienne has already released four albums with Warner Classics, all to critical acclaim. For her third album, dedicated to Piazzolla, Lucienne was awarded the OPUS Klassik Prize in the Young Artist of the Year category.

A favorite of the media, especially television, Lucienne performed at the Concert de Paris à la Tour Eiffel on July 14, 2020, alongside the Orchestre National de France, live on France Télévisions, as well as on Rolando Villazon's program Stars de Demain for Arte and ZDF, and Podium Witteman for Dutch public broadcaster NTR. Lucienne has also been a guest on Le Grand Echiquier on two occasions, and several of her performances have been broadcast on channels such as Medici, Arte and ZDF.
An eclectic artist with an immense talent for tackling different genres, Lucienne shares the stage with artists such as Barbara Hannigan, Bertrand Chamayou and Renaud Capuçon. Since 2021, she has formed a duo with accordionist Félicien Brut.
An exclusive Warner Classics artist, Lucienne released her debut album The Voice of the Trumpet in 2017 in collaboration with the Orchestre National de Lille and Rolando Villazón. Her second album, Mademoiselle in New York, recorded with the BBC Concert Orchestra under Bill Elliott, is released in 2019. In February 2021, Lucienne presents her album Piazzolla Stories, recorded with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte Carlo and Sascha Goetzel. A fourth disc featuring several famous trumpet concertos with the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester and Michael Sanderling will be released in autumn 2022.
Lucienne is the winner of the 2019 Arthur Waser Prize, becoming the first woman to receive the award for young musicians from the Swiss Arthur Waser Foundation.
