PONANT invites you to enjoy an unforgettable experience along the Pacific coast of South America, which offers contrasting landscapes and still-unspoiled lands.

From the legendary port of Valparaiso, you will set sail aboard the Le Boréal for a 14-day cruise linking Chile to Argentina.

After cruising along the 40th parallel south, the Le Boréalwill call at Puerto Montt. You will be captivated by the incomparable beauty of the landscapes in this capital of the Lake District.

You will also cruise to Tortel, located at the mouth of the Baker River, one of the most beautiful in Chile. This small Patagonian village boasts unmatched architecture: stilt houses, wooden walkways, endless stairways…

From Puerto Natales, you will be able to discover the Torres del Paine National Park. Listed as a UNESCOWorld Heritage site, this park is one of the most beautiful places on Earth. The beauty of the unspoiled environment is rivalled only by the intense colours of the sky.

Your cruise ends with 5 days and 4 nights of luxury expedition in the Chilean fjords, those torturous fjords where majestic glaciers seem to meet the ocean.

After sailing across the Strait of Magellan and rounding the famous Cape Horn, you will reach Ushuaia. This small city at the end of the world nestles between mountains and fertile plains where abundant wildlife has taken up residence.

    Interior Design

With her fluid lines and a modern colour scheme combining natural wood with shades of grey and white, Le Soléal presents references to a nautical theme.

Aboard your ship, cruise along the 600 km separating the Atlantic Ocean from the Pacific and, before arriving in Ushuaia, discover the sea route which was long nicknamed “Strait of All Saints” because Magellan’s ships first entered it on All Saints’ Day.
